Blog Award

I have to answer sweet related questions, so here they are:

Cookies or Cake? Definitely cake!!

Chocolate or Vanilla? Chocolate all the way.

What is your favorite sweet treat? I switch around a lot but I'm currently into chocolate cake.

When do you crave sweet things the most? Ummmm...at a certain specific time of the month. hehe

If you had a sweet nickname, what would it be? My husband calls me sweetie, so I guess that works.

 See? I'm multi-talented.

I have to do something to help pay the bills until I become a huge best-seller. ;)So this is what I do whenever I can. As jobs go, it's fun--but a prerequisite is liking kids. Which, luckily, I do. And, now I have to get off my blog and go work on my book for a bit. I'm supposed to be doing Nanowrimo--but I haven't started yet. Sigh. Too many other things going on. At least I'm only two days behind. Plenty of time to catch up, right? 

Oh! I've been meaning to ask. Are any of you guys going to Yall Fest?? I'm going to be there and I'd love to meet up!! Let me know...Thanks!

    You paint faces very well! How long does it take per kid?

      Only about three to five minutes per kid, depending on how detailed the face is. :)

    Congrats on the award! You are awesome at the face painting! I think that is one of the coolest talents that have...and yes, it is definitely good if you like kids!

      Thanks. I'm not really artistically talented at all, but facepainting is really just brushstrokes that anyone can learn. That being said, it did take me a few years to get really good at it, so it's not something you can pick up overnight--but it's definitely a fun job. :)

      Naaah...I'm telling you,it's not talent, just practice. Anyone wiith the patience to learn how can do it. I actually don't have any real artistic talent except for an ability to visualize cool stuff to put together from already existing materials. But I can't draw or paint or anything. But hey, at least I can write. (I hope anyway)
